Our Process

We understand that selling your business is one of the biggest decisions of your life and career. It requires a strong foundation of trust and transparency - we would love to build a relationship with you as you navigate the process. Even if you are just exploring the option of selling, we would love to speak with you and help you think through your options.

01.

Get to know each other (2-4 weeks)

We want to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We begin with 2-3 introductory calls to get to know each other, to understand your objectives, and to share a bit more about our goals and investment criteria.

If there is a good mutual fit, we will request basic information from you to learn more about the company and to share a preliminary value range for your business.

02.

Secondary Diligence and Letter of Intent  (4-8 weeks)

If there is agreement on purchase price range, we may request additional information to better understand the company and if there is continued interest, we will submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). An LOI is a non-binding document that outlines an agreement in principle for us to purchase the business and clearly outlines key agreed upon deal terms. You can then decide if you would like to move forward.

03.

Due Diligence and Closing (2-6 months)

Our bias will be to get the transaction done as quickly as possible, without compromising quality. What you can expect from us throughout the process is transparency, authenticity, and confidentiality. During this stage, we will complete our final due diligence. We will also work together with you to determine the appropriate method and timing to engage with management, employees, customers, and suppliers.

Once diligence is complete, we will finalize the legal documentation process and complete the transaction.

04.

Close and Transition (Flexible)

Congratulations! On closing day, we will sign the final documents, wire your funds, and celebrate together. You are now ready for the next stage in your life and career. We will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition for all employees, customers, and suppliers.
